This is an all-time favorite with my family which is regularly made for my kids school lunch or when we go on road trips. This can be eaten by itself or with a bowl of soup which is a great combination in winters for lunch or dinner.

Cooking time - 30 minutes Serves - 4

Ingredients:-

-       2 medium sized potatoes (boiled)

-       1 onion finely chopped.

-       3 green chillies (crushed)

-       1 teaspoon mix garlic + ginger (crushed)

-       1/4th teaspoon turmeric powder (Haldi)

-       1 teaspoon cumin & coriander powder (jeera & dhania)

-       ½ teaspoon salt (or add according to taste)

-       Chopped coriander/cilantro leaves.

-       1 cup Lettuce chopped in big pieces.

-       Mayonnaise & Mustard sauce

-       4 Cheese slices

-       Italian herbs (Dash brand or any brand)

-       4 big Kaiser bread roll/ Portuguese bread

 Assembling the Sandwich:-

-       Cut the Bread in the middle (halves) and toast them in a toaster.

-       Butter one side of the half bread.

-       Add the potato stuffing ball on that.

-       Add a slice of Cheese, topped with lettuce on that.

-       On other half of bread, add mayo, mustard and spread with herbs on that.

-       Place this bread on top of the lettuce.

-       Serve cutting this bun in 2 or in 4 parts and enjoy.

Note- This burger/sandwich can be made with kaiser roll, portuguese, Ciabiatta or any artisan breads. Its very filling and tasty with these breads compared to sliced bread.
